Not as Bad

The past two days we have been without water. It is the yearly clean-the-water-pipes in Kherson. The whole city is without water as the water department adds chlorine to the water tank and then sends it through the pipes. They say that when the water is first turned back on that it is a good time to wash the whites and clean the toilet. This year the chlorine concentration seems to be a little stronger than last year, at least that is what a taxi driver said today. But we are thankful the water is on tonight and we did not run out of drinking water or washing/flushing water. We are also thankful that it was only two day whereas last year we were without water for about 6 days.
