Today we visited with our new friends, a family with four children. We went to a park where we played soccer and ran around. The children had a good time, and we got to talk to the parents as well. They are believers and have visited our church once. They had some questions about church history in the US, and also shared some of the church history in the former USSR. Jamie and Vladimir also talked about baseball -- there is no baseball team in Kherson, and most people here do not know the object of the game. A few parents told us they would like to see a baseball team in Kherson. 
Nadia and her new friend Yulia had fun making a dandelion wreath, Anna and Timmy had a ball playing soccer, and Polly did all the crawling and toddling she wanted. She started walking a couple of weeks ago and is enjoying every moment of it. She is also progressing on her speaking: if you ask her, "How are you?" the answer will be, "Goo!" She also says "Go!" and "Gah-Gum!" (all done).
A short update on the water situation: we did get water Friday night (80 hours after it was turned
off). We were overjoyed to be able to take showers again, to do laundry and the dishes. Aaah, the simple joys of life!
